Flash (The Flash)2

Bart as the Flash.

After defeating Black Flash, Bart was flung into the 31st century where he met up with the Legion of Superheroes. When the Crisis caused Earth-1's future to disappear, Bart headed to mid 2012 with Brainiac 5, Rokk, Garth, Imra, Tinya, Brin, Salu, and Garth's little sister, Ayla. Once in the present, Bart assured Ayla that they'd stop the Monitors from destroying Earth-1, thereby saving the future. Arriving at the Watchtower, Bart greeted Chloe and revealed how he'd survived the mess with Black Flash, stating that he was planning on becoming the new Flash. Once the rest of the League was summoned to the Watchtower by Chloe and Tess, Bart greeted Clark and Oliver, happily reuniting with them as he explained how he was going by Flash now and promised to talk to Jay about it after the Crisis. Upon learning that Pax was aiding the Monitors, Flash was confused as he'd thought Pax was killed when the Sun Eater destroyed his planet. After a failed investigation, Flash saw a figure flying towards the Watchtower and shouted to clear the room as Pax arrived and fought the League, before he was subdued by Superman. Learning from Pax about the Anti-Monitors and that he'll work with them, Flash asked if he's helping them, learning from Green Arrow that it's more likely the reverse. While investigating the Smallville fields on a tip from Nabu, Flash noted a quip from Brainiac 5 before he was told to be quiet by Salu. Flash then went with Superboy, Miss Martian, Batman, Nightwing, Blue Beetle, Brainiac 5, Imra, and Rokk to search for the Anti-Monitors. Once Chloe's team found the Anti-Monitor, Kai-Lan, they regrouped and confronted him along with an Anti-Monitor they were struggling with, Kay-Tsu. Once the Anti-Monitors retreats to another world, Flash eagerly agrees that they should follow him, using Pax's Warp Key. He and the other heroes then travel to a universe where Bruce Wayne was in his forties.

Crisis Part 1[]

Flash (The Flash)8

Flash building up his energy for a lightning bolt.

After explaining the Crisis to DCEU Batman, he stays at the cave with the Legion to keep an eye on Lex, and when Superman, Superboy, Supergirl, and Pax return with the DCEU Superman, Flash is confused by Brainiac 5's explanation about how the other Superman returned from the dead. Flash is still confused upon hearing it has something to do with an energy backlash from repeated reality travel before excepting that it's more or less a dream for everyone but himself and the people from his world. When Wonder Woman, DCEU Wonder Woman, Blue Beetle, Martian Manhunter, and Miss Martian have trouble holding off the Anti-Monitor, Tru-Shi, Flash joins the heroes in forcing her back and making her retreat, with Flash believing the situation is only going to get more confusing. After forcing Kay-Tsu out of Belle Reave, and it's revealed that reality is made out of infinite multiverses, each with fifty-two universes, Flash noted that he was right about it getting more confusing. When the heroes tracked the Anti-Monitors to Midway City, Flash made fun of one of the Anti-Monitors' names, Bob. When they fused into one Anti-Monitor, Flash agreed with Blue Beetle that his name was more impressive. When the stronger heroes prepped for a charge, Flash and the others distracted Anti-Monitor by tossing the lightning his speed generates. When the Anti-Monitor retreated, Flash and the other heroes followed him to a universe where the younger heroes are already firmly established.

Crisis Part 2[]

Flash (The Flash)3

Flash in the Young Justice universe.

When Supergirl met the Young Justice, she helped convince them of the Crisis and confronted the Anti-Monitor's ship when it was over Washington DC. Once the Anti-Monitor retreats following Robin deactivating his weaponry, they follow him using the Warp Key again and end up in a universe where the League are veteran heroes, with Flash meeting another alternate Flash.

Crisis Part 3[]

Flash (The Flash)

Flash goes to stop Superman from making a mistake.

When Flash met the older Justice League, he helped explain the Crisis to them. After Superman and Green Arrow had rushed off to confront the Anti-Monitor for apparently kidnapping Jimmy Olsen, Flash went after them with the DCAU Flash and the YJ Flash, commenting on how he hates reality hopping. As Superman was beating up the Anti-Monitor, Flash arrived to remind Superman that they don't do that. When Superman agrees, Flash confesses that he thought something bad would happen, when he's bowled over by the Anti-Monitor simply clapping his hands. Luckily, they're saved by DCAU Superman, DCAU Flash, and YJ Flash. Flash then accepts Superman's thanks for calming him down by stating it was why he was here. Flash then regrouped with the other heroes as the Anti-Monitor once again retreated to another dimension. Following him via the Warp Key, he and the others arrived in a universe with a Bat-Family around the heroes' age.

Crisis Part 4[]

Flash (The Flash)4

Flash in Jump City.

After explaining the situation to the Bat-Family, they went to Jump City where a Tamarainian girl was attacking everything in sight as Flash complimented the just arrived Beast Boy for knocking her aside as a goat. Once Starfire was calmed down, Flash learned that Starfire was released by the Anti-Monitor destroying a Gordanian ship. Flash and the others were then pummeled by the energy coming from the Anti-Monitor's ship until the Supermen, Supergirl, and Pax flew up into the ship to stop him. Once the energy stopped, they learned that Pax had killed the Anti-Monitor and was now holding the Kryptonian heroes hostage. Allowing him to go to Gotham in exchange for their return, the group then rushed to Gotham and arrived before Pax to protect his new target, Ellen Yin, learning that he was the one who kidnapped Jimmy Olsen. Once Pax escaped, they used the Warp Key he left behind to follow them to a world where Oliver Queen was a lot more like Bruce Wayne where they were held at Arrow-point by Arrow.

Crisis Part 5[]

Bart Allen2

Bart when he met Moira.

Once Flash helped explain the Crisis to Arrow and his team, he switched to his civvies and went to investigate undercover with Oliver, using his real name of Bart Allen when they met up with Moira. Bart then learned with the others that Thea had figured out that Arrow Oliver is Arrow after overhearing Oliver talking to the grave of this world's Robert Queen. Just then, a friend of Arrow Oliver's named Tommy arrived explaining that a friend of theirs named Laurel had been kidnapped. Flash then joined the heroes in facing Pax's gauntlet within his ship as Arrow and Green Arrow easily took out Pax's defenses. Once they got to Pax, they learned that he had been kidnapping people from various universes such as Martha Kent from the DC Extended Universe, Wendy Harris from the Young Justice universe, Jimmy Olsen from the DCAU, and Jonathan Kent from Earth-2 in an effort to reboot the multiverse. As Pax began attacking the heroes, they were saved by Laurel as Pax retreated. After Pax had kidnapped Laurel's mother, Dinah, Flash was sent to Earth-2 by Nabu with the other heroes, where they ran into Ultraman.

Crisis Part 6[]

Flash (The Flash)5

Flash fighting Pax in Earth-2.

At the Watchtower of Earth-2, Flash helped explain the Crisis to Earth-2's Justice League. Flash then went with the other heroes to face Pax when he sends out a signal to the heroes with superhearing. He was then beaten with the others after Pax has distracted the heroes thanks to now being immune to lead and kidnapped Ellen and Earth-2 Batman, leaving Pax with only Chloe before he can reset the multiverse.

Crisis Part 7[]

Flash (The Flash)6

Bart returns to Central City as the Flash.

Flash assisted the heroes in searching for Earth-2 Batman and by association with Pax. Once Thea managed to activate Earth-2 Batman's signal, Flash went with the League while Superman had Tess, Lois, Oliver, Earth-2 Oliver, Earth-2 Lois, Earth-2 Chloe, Thea, Felicity, Diggle, Ethan, the DCAU League, and the Young Justice League to protect Chloe as she'd just gone into labor. Flash then went to the Pit with the League, the Legion, and Arrow as they fought Pax on his ship, but he was quickly rendered unconscious. After Superboy defeated Pax and freed his hostages, Flash regrouped with the heroes at the Watchtower where Chloe had given birth to her son, Roy Gabriel Queen. Flash then goes back to Earth-1 with his League, officially ending the Crisis with only Earth-2 and Earth-1 remembering it. Once the Legion was about to head off, Flash repeated their mantra of "Long Live the Legion" before going back to of Central City.

A year after the Crisis, Flash was patrolling Central City when he ran into a recovered Slade Wilson. Slade then immobilized Flash with a substance that stuck Flash to the ground, much to his annoyance before Slade also shot him in the neck with a dart, causing him to pass out. Slade then held Flash captive with the rest of the League. Flash was then rescued by a group of young heroes made up of Superboy, Nightwing, Robin, Speedy, Miss Martian, Cyborg, Blue Beetle, Zan, and Janya.

Reach Part 1[]

Flash (The Flash)9

Flash as they were planning their attack.

When a group of aliens called the Reach arrived and invited the League on a tour of their ship, Flash was surprised by Booster's maturity when he went to see if Blue Beetle was alright. In the ship, Flash was tricked into getting near a group of Starro creatures, resulting in him falling under the Reach's control. Afterwards, he fought Young Justice with the rest of the League. He attacked Cyborg before he managed to shock the Starro off his face, freeing Flash but making him groan about his face. Once the rest of the League was freed and Black Beetle retreated, Flash prepped with the other heroes to face the Reach.

Reach Part 2[]

While Young Justice invaded the Reach mothership, Flash helped the League in facing the Reach's counter-attack. After the White Beetle was stunned by the other heroes, Flash sped around White Beetle, pulling the scarab off of him, revealing the corpse of a Tamaranian. Afterwards, once the Reach retreated, Bart joined the rest of the League and Young Justice for Milagro's birthday party.

When Hro Talak invaded Earth with a small army of Thanagarians, Impulse joined the rest of the League and Young Justice at the Watchtower to work out a plan to stop him. When the League was ready to move out with Green Arrow and Batman's plan to get Talak's troops out of the ship and destroy it with the Watchtower space station as well as alerting the authorities on Thanagar to submit Talak to the justice system, Impulse was excited and asked for his part, joining Batman and Green Arrow's team in the Watchtower. He then asked what they were going in, enthusiastic about the reveal of the Javelin. Once he arrived on the station with Batman, Catwoman, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and Cyborg, Impulse's job was to work on trajectory to have the station hit the ship dead center. Impulse then said how everything was ready, and that according to Cyborg, no one was left on the ship. Impulse then asked why Batman knocked Green Arrow out, learning that he was planning to drive the Watchtower into the ship himself. He then asked what Batman was doing when he closed the pod to take them back to the Javelin while he was going to be the one to pilot the Watchtower. Luckily, Batman was saved by Superman just before the station crashed into Talak's ship.

Impulse and Black Canary after Grundy's stopped.

When Riddler broke Toyman up and put Metropolis under a bomb threat, Flash arrived with Superboy and Black Canary. Impulse then met Batman and asked about his car, learning from Nightwing that he now also had a bike. Impulse then asked if he could drive it sometime since "chicks dig bikes". When Riddler sent Chloe the first riddle, Impulse groaned about riddles giving him a headache. Once Black Canary had dealt with Solomon Grundy, Impulse sped to the scene and bragged to Black Canary that he could have done it in half the time. He then agreed to head back to Watchtower. Once there, Chloe revealed that he had to face Captain Cold. Impulse believed it wouldn't be a challenge and sped to Metro Park. Impulse then greeted Cold, reminding him of how he'd thrown Cold into Central City jail. When Cold threatened him, Impulse bragged he'd have Cold back in jail before he could blink. Cold then fired his freezing gun at Impulse as he sped circles around him. However, Impulse slipped on ice and ended up sliding into Cold who held his cold gun to his head. Impulse asked Cold to make it quick before speeding away from the blast, surprised he could move so fast, not even joking, and punched Captain Cold out, noting his luck as he sped back to Central City with Cold. He then sped back to Watchtower.

A year after Riddler's game, Impulse was patrolling Central City when he ran into a recovered Slade Wilson. Slade then immobilized Impulse with a substance that stuck Impulse to the ground, much to his annoyance before Slade also shot him in the neck with a dart, causing him to pass out. Slade then held Impulse captive with the rest of the League. Impulse was then rescued by a group of young heroes made up of Superboy, Nightwing, Robin, Speedy, Zan, and Janya.

Starcrossed[]

Impulse2

Impulse makes a trajectory for the station's impact with the ship.

Metropolis: Detective[]

Prelude[]
Impulse4

Impulse confronting Slade.

Bart was on monitor duty when Chloe contacted Watchtower to let them know that Crane had begun suspecting her real reason for enrolling in his class as Bart called out an expletive and put a dollar in a swear jar as Roy was there at the time. When Superman heard something and rushed off, Bart wondered where he was going. Bart was then happy when Clark found the missing Kara. Once Kara was cured of fear toxin poisoning, Bart asked Batman who he was since Oliver and Clark already knew and got shot down by Batman saying that he was retiring after Omega City was stopped.

Joker[]
Impulse2

Impulse breaks into Victoria's penthouse.

When Batman let the Justice League know who he was, Impulse bragged that he'd never know his identity when Batman revealed it in front of everybody. He then called Batman a show off when he revealed everyone else's identities effortlessly. When the Joker appeared on the screen, Impulse wondered what happened to his mouth, learning of Joker's knack for lying. By virtue of being in the Watchtower at the time, Impulse was allowed to deal with Joker's bomb threat. Impulse was then led on a wild goosechase by Joker along with Green Arrow, Aquaman, Black Canary, and Cyborg, leading to him being captured along with Lois. After Superman and Batman were captured as well, Impulse and the others were saved by Supergirl, Nightwing, Robin, and a revived Davis. When a mind controlled Metallo was unleashed by Joker, Impulse expressed disgust on his exposed metal skull. After Davis stopped Metallo, and Batman and Supergirl knocked out Joker and Harley Quinn, Impulse was upset that Nightwing made the one-liner instead of him.

Demon[]
Impulse (Smallville)

Impulse arrives to help against Hro Talak.

Bart was later distressed upon learning that Lex was using Omega City to revive Level 33.1 in an enormous underground complex. Bart then argued with Lois scolding Bart about swearing since he didn't believe the baby could hear him. Impulse later confronted Ra's with the rest of the League as he declared that they knew Ra's was involved, though he denied it since they didn't have any evidence. When Batman and Superman decided to give Ra's the benefit of the doubt, Impulse noted how boring that was and asked the League's opinion on changing his hero name, earning him a reprimand from the rest of the League, much to his disappointment.

Lionel[]
Bart Allen4

Bart learns about Lionel's return.

When Clark tells the League that the Lionel Luthor from Earth-2 returned, Impulse, like Supergirl, exclaimed about it before asking if the others thought calling himself Flash was a good idea and was disappointed when they told him "not now". He was also disappointed when he had to put a dollar in the swear jar for swearing in front of Roy.

Brainiac[]
Flash (The Flash)5

Flash fighting Pax in Earth-2.

When Brainiac returned and attacked various civilians, Impulse arrived at a meeting with Batman and Chloe and asked about the situation before asking Lightning Lad how he knew he changed his superhero identity to the Flash, learning they were from the future. Flash then met Saturn Girl and hit on her. He then took insult when Cosmic Boy called him a relic since they were from a millennium in the future. Flash then arrived with Batman and the Legion of Superheroes to help Superman fight Brainiac. He then laughed at Lightning Lad's bad joke of calling Brainiac Goo-Guy. Flash then avoided an attempt by Brainiac to reprogram him. When Brainiac sends his drones at everyone, Flash guesses that they have to knock them out to give Brainiac 5 time to deprogram them before Saturn Girl stops them. Flash then agrees to help look for Brainiac, who disappeared in the drone attack. When the League tracks Brainiac to the Metropolis Power Plant, Flash agrees to call the League if there's a problem. Flash then speeds off and finds that the machines in the plant have been reverse engineered to build new Brainiac drones. Flash is then found out by the rewritten people as Flash rushes through them in an attempt to warn the League, happy to learn that the result had returned the people to normal despite hurting. Flash then rushed off when the drones pursued them. Flash then met up with Cyborg and asked if he was alright before Cyborg reluctantly attacked due to Brainiac hacking his mechanical components. Flash then rushed through him again, pulling out the Brainiac components again and returning Cyborg to normal. Flash was then happy to have helped Cyborg. The remaining drones are then stopped when Brainiac 5 kills himself to send Brainiac to the Phantom Zone, and Flash then attends his funeral.

Redemption[]
Flash (The Flash)11

Flash at the Watchtower.

When Clark Luthor asked for help from the Justice League, Flash went with them, and he was surprised to meet him. Flash then agreed to hear about Owlman from Jester. When Flash learns that his counterpart is in Mexico, he wonders what he's doing there before rushing off after a shout from Batman. He then returns with his counterpart. When Bart rushes off after seeing Ultraman, Flash groans and gets him back. When Flash suggests his hero name and is shot down, he shouts at Supergirl for laughing, explaining that he isn't talking to Earth-2's Kara. Flash then mock laughs at Green Arrow when his counterpart prefers being Impulse. Flash then asked Ultraman which part of Earth-2's Aquaman drowning wasn't acurate. After getting Atlantis' armies to bolster Earth-2's Justice League, Flash returned to Earth-1 with the other heroes, wondering what to do now. He also asked how they'd get home, calling Aquaman a showoff when he swam off.

Doomsday Part 1[]

Impulse and Black Canary

Impulse and Black Canary after Grundy's stopped.

When Riddler broke Toyman up and put Metropolis under a bomb threat, Flash arrived with Superboy and Black Canary. Impulse then met Batman and asked about his car, learning that it was now his bike.

He returned to Metropolis in time to save Chloe Sullivan from getting shot by Dr. Caselli. Bart then got back in touch with Clark after a small race. He told Clark that he had really learned what he tried to teach him and declared that he had quit stealing. Clark soon learned that Bart had in fact stolen information from Victoria Hardwick, but Bart did not tell him that he was working for Oliver and Lex. Bart left to do another job for Oliver and Lex, but fell into a trap set up by Victoria Hardwick. Victoria put him in a chamber and forced him to run at super-speed or risk being electrocuted until he agreed to talk. Clark rescued him from the cage. After this, Green Arrow, Cyborg, and Aquaman blew up the facility. Bart left with the "Justice League" and continued working to stop other 33.1 facilities around the world.
